Incredible Facts
Here’s a little something that brings back memories! This was a regular column that ran for 3 years (when exactly, I can’t remember) in the Science and Education section of the Indian Express. Researched, written and drawn by me. (I had a real blast doing these as animals and nature are my speciality!)

The Cartoon World of Keith Francis 
This does bring back fond memories. “Incredible Facts” was the reason I used to read a newspaper as a kid. I think it may be somewhere between 1987-88 when I was in the 7th grade. I used to maintain a book where I would paste every single strip after cutting it out of the newspaper, and used to date it. I was so dissappointed when the strip stopped appearing, but I did manage a huge collection. Unfortunately, a colony kid borrowed it for reading and never returned it. I cannot express my happiness to see some of the strips online after so many years!!
That was 23 years ago! Nothing had managed to keep me so captivated as incredible facts did. Those strips instilled a craving for knowledge in a litte kid and today, that kid thanks you!
One fact I still remember (hopefully correctly) : “Put a drop of alcohol on a scorpion and it would sting itself to death.”
